You Don’t See America’s Real Strength Until You Experience the World Cup in Person

The 2026 World Cup gave many people a new perspective on the United States.

From Atlanta and Los Angeles to New York and New Jersey, Jack & King’s had the opportunity to attend 11 World Cup matches in person. Standing inside these massive stadiums, one impression stood out: America’s strength is not only in what it builds, but in the system behind it.

A stadium holding 70,000 or 80,000 people is more than a sports venue. Transportation, security, food service, retail, entertainment, technology and crowd management all have to work together smoothly.

That is what the World Cup revealed.

Infrastructure is not only highways, airports and railways. It also includes stadiums, schools, hospitals, libraries, community centers and the public spaces that support everyday life.

What impressed us even more was the ability to operate these facilities over the long term. Many World Cup stadiums were not built for one tournament. They are already home to professional teams and regularly host sports, concerts and major events. They continue creating value year after year.

The same foundation can be seen at the community level. Even in towns where soccer is not the No.1 sport, children often have access to quality fields, organized leagues and a well-developed sports culture.

For Jack & King’s, the biggest takeaway from these 11 matches was not simply how many games we watched.

It was seeing people from different countries and cultures come together through football—Spanish fans celebrating, South American supporters singing, and American families bringing their children to experience the World Cup for the first time.

The tournament may be over, but the connections it created will continue.

It reminded us once again:

The world needs connection. Cultures need exchange. And food is one of the most natural bridges between people.

Thank you, World Cup 2026, for an unforgettable summer of passion, friendship and global connection.
